HML Ashton Chater
Application for payment
Everyone should now have received their application for payment from HML Ashton Chater. In August 2016 Members of your committee had previously met with the Head of Property Management for HML Ashton Chater and were given an undertaking that they would work with BMCA to deliver the standards of service required to maintain and enhance what they agreed was a special and prestigious development.
The recent application for payment did not meet expectations in several areas, such as late arrival, errors with address and salutations and only a simple narrative to explain the data. Having spoken and written to the Head of Property Management we have received an unqualified apology and the following commitment and assurance.
‘Please rest assured that it is my intention to make sure that this development is managed to the high standards that I/you would expect and we expect you to witness significant improvements.’
In summary, the last eight months have been an education process for them, and although not there yet, we remain confident that we will get to a position where the commercial relationship between HML Ashton Chater and BMCA works as well as it practically and financially can.
Members of your committee will be meeting with The Head of Property Management and Property Manager in May to review their first year and agree improvements for the next 12 months.

You are invited to make a voluntary donation to the Friends of Bakers Mill. In 2016 we received £270 from residents and non-resident owners. This money helpsthe committee to enhance the special environment here at Bakers Mill. A minimum donation of £5 is suggested (you can of course donate more!) with payment by cash, cheque or BACS. Better still, why not set up an annual standing order? Contact the treasurer (email@example.com, 01787 881536) for further information on how to donate.
